Established in 2012 by a number of number of highly experienced experts in the Geospatial market, Geospatial Insight take propriety data sources, apply quantitative and qualitative analysis, along with expert interpretation to help deliver better business intelligence. Our resources include satellite receiving stations and control infrastructure, in-house production analysts and relationships with many aerial acquisition partners to ensure global reach.
Intelligence derived from analysis and interpretation of satellite and aerial imagery is not a new field, it has been proven in the realm of military intelligence for over 75 years. During WW2 in 1940, the Photographic Interpretation Unit, code named MI4 was formed in Britain alongside the better known units of MI5 and MI6. The department has undergone many changes but still survives today as DGIFC (Defence Geospatial Intelligence Fusion Centre). Like this military intelligence department, Geospatial Insight provides imagery derived measurement and signature intelligence. Also known as Advanced Geospatial Intelligence or GEOINT (GEOspatial INTelligence), this is an intelligence discipline which exploits and analyses geographically determined information. Our sources include satellite and aerial imagery, mapping data, open data from government and often our client’s own datasets. The result is Geospatial Insight, Europe’s only provider of this type of intelligence, to corporate, investor, insurance and government clients. When combined with other intelligence gathering disciplines clients are assured of the most complete business intelligence available.
Geospatial Insight’s intelligence is:
Evidence-based, real-world observed data.
The timing of information capture can be selected and the intelligence delivered in near real-time.
The intelligence will be tailored to each client’s requirements and will be provided only to them.
Discrete and Cost-effective
Remote capture, with minimal human intervention
